I thought I might list a few lessons along the way through this metal smithing life. So, lesson 1, take your time. Seriously. Go slow. Perhaps when I'm well experienced and flying through rings and necklaces like it's my job because it IS in fact my job... I will be able to go fast. But for now. Take your time. Slow down, and enjoy the process. I messed up two bezels and tore through a few stamps today. Why do I feel like I have to move so fast? I have no clue. It only ends up taking me longer b/c I have to start all over again. So thus hence here unfor to... I'll take my time.
Here's my latest "Through the Garden Ring". She's adorable. And again, I'm happy with the way she turned out!
