
Here's my latest and "greatest". She's a work in progress, my metal smithing. Still, of all the jewelry I've done, working with metal and cabochons (the stones) is more rewarding. It takes effort. Something I rarely give unless I like it. This took me about 3 1/2 hours. If you look closely under the cab, just above the bottom dot you can see where the solder spilled out from under the crescent moon. That's a no-no. I'm still so very very proud of this piece. I intend on making others similar to this one. I think a moonstone cab next the crescent moon would be very appropriate.
